Rock View Rest Hatton

Location is super. Family are very welcoming. Raver the host offers great guides and service to Adams Peak and waterfall. Food also great, cooked by his daughter.

Only point to make is the sign to the entrance of the hostel is little unclear from the road (but lets be homest we did drive in the night time). Just keep a good looke out

The family is very nice and friendly, the location is nice next to a small river.

The rooms are extremely noisy, the room was quite tiny, the bed was in front of the bathroom door, the mattress is too thin, the hygiene is not great either. In comparison to other stays that we have stayed at, that were in the same price category, this one was disappointing.

We had the best time at Rockview Rest. The owner Ravi is one of the kindest people we met in Sri Lanka. He drove is in the middle of the night to Adams Peak, so we could walk there. Next to house he has a beautiful river where you van swim and relax on the rocks. Also he recommended such beautiful places in the area of Hatton. The Gartmore waterfall is one of the most beautiful places sights in Sri Lanka and maybe even of the world. Thanks so much for your hospitality Ravi! And also thanks to your wife and children.
