Posada Nuuna Mazunte

The man who manages the place is lovely.

There was absolutely no breeze in the hut I was in. It was terribly hot and almost impossible to sleep. The electricity was out from the time I arrived until I left. I was only staying here because another place canceled, so I didn’t research it well. You should. There are no showers nor hot water and they send that email after you’ve made a non refundable booking. The rooms are basically just huts stacked in top of each other meaning there is absolutely 0 privacy, even when you’re using the toilet. You can hear EVERYTHING, and I do mean EVERYTHING! It’s light camping out with strangers, very uncomfortable. If you have any aversion at all to camping, maybe skip this place. I was thankful to have only had to stay one night!

It was very close to a beach and punta comets and a short walk to the town. The bed was comfortable and the balcony was nice.

We stayed during May which is the off season so it was just us and the host. Despite being the only guests at posada nuuna, the kitchen facilities were poor. The kitchen was very unhygienic with uncleaned pans and utensils kept on the hob throughout our stay and flies gathering around unwashed things in the sink. Our beers were stolen from the fridge from the 'kids' as told to his from our host. All of our money was stolen from our suitcase. Our balcony doors were not secure. We were not compensated in any way from our host. Our host had not warned us of this or communicated that our belongings were unsafe in this place. Very disappointed.

Very nice room with a great design

Communal kitchen was very poor quality. Very basic and poor quality facilities for cooking. I electrocuted myself on the toasting machine which was falling apart and a real hazard to use. Very basic cooking hob that really wasn’t inviting to use. The kitchen seemed like a cheap after thought which really wasn’t very well equipped or inviting at all.

Beautiful design of the accommodation which is half open on the outside while keeping the right amount of privacy. Comfortable bed Stunning view Really well located.

the construction of the facility is very nice, although the stairs to the unit lack a handrail which invites disaster. It is nicely situated near Mermejita beach.

the bed was uncomfortable. kitchen was not clean and water was not provided for drinking. no view.

Great quiet place ... Recommend

Beautiful architectural design of the buildings and room. Excellent location near the beautiful Mermejita beach and off the noisy Mazunte village.

Unfrequent cleaning of the room, especially the bathroom. No breakfast is offered and the common kitchen is not well equipped (Pans without handles, just a few plastic plates). The kitchen is not clean, and drinking water was missing one day.
