This guest house is beautiful. The staff are so kind and welcoming, the breakfast is very very good and the WIFI is faultless. Better than my WiFi in London. You can refill your water for 5 pesos. Amazing place to work if that’s your deal. The area is so tranquil and clean, you’re treated like a guest at a hotel. I’ll be coming back here for sure after visiting mazunte

For the price of the room, it would be nice to have a mosquito net (the room is pretty secure, but some still found a way in) Equally for the price. It would be nice to have a mirror; but I’m vein

Breakfast and coffee were pretty good. Location is across the street from the beach. Staff were friendly and helpful, except no one is there at night. The place is inexpensive so don’t expect much.

We were robbed by a nighttime intruder we actually caught in a room coming back from diner on our first days. We thought he was a staff person. Turns out there is no staff that stays overnight. Glad we did not discover jewelry missing until next day as a confrontation would have been scary. We did not have curtains on the windows looking directly at our bed and had to hang a sheet on the windows. No towels or soap or drinking water in the room. The shower has one tap, no illusions about hot water. The stairs are unlit and uneven, difficult for older people and dangerous. Staff is helpful and friendly but underpaid. The place is run “as is” with little ambition to improve the experience for the guests.

Big shout out to Manuel, Carlos and Fabian. They were all generous with their time, friendliness, and conversation in a genuine way. The room was very secure and very clean. The bathroom is updated and modern. The bed is comfortable with clean sheets and towels. Wifi was fast enough to watch a TV show. Ceiling fans kept the air moving and comfortable, despite the heat and humidity. Great location for accessing the beach or walking through town. I also happened to be there while a tropical storm rolled in. Everyone was very supportive and I felt *really* taken care of!

Only one person behind reception lacked any kind of warmth. Got the vibes he would rather be elsewhere. Only two hammocks, so I imagine during high season there is a wait to use them. You are in basically a jungle, so yes, there are ants (and other bugs) that find their way into the room. It is not beachside, so you will hear traffic, not waves (this was OK for me as I knew this before I arrived).
