CACAThis is a lovely small posada, with a quiet location in San Agustinillo, just across the street from the beautiful beach, and steps away from restaurants and little shops. The place has a lounge area and small cafe-bar, eating area, and garden (with a small above-ground pool). I had a room with private bath, on the main floor. All the rooms on the main floor have a table and chairs outside the door, looking onto to the garden, and a couple have hammocks too. A pizza oven was just being built, so food options will be expanding. Great place to stay in San Agustinillo: pretty, quiet, well-priced; comfy place to sit outside the room; really helpful staff! And nice fellow-travelers.
USCAThe location is fabulous--right on the edge of town. The room was quiet. The facility itself is very pretty, with lots of chairs scattered around.
The hammocks were worn out and poorly strung. The lighting in the evening was awful--I banged my head one evening and stubbed my toe another. The room needs a bath mat badly. The portable fan provided had only one speed and was insanely noisy. I had to leave early for medical reasons, and despite the fact that I had paid for 3 more nights they tried to tell me I could check out 30 minutes late. The staff knew very little, and often seemed confused about relatively simple things, even though I spoke Spanish.

SECAWonderful location close to beach access. The grounds were a beautiful oasis with many spots to relax and chill. The kitchen and bar served great coffee and breakfasts. Our room was spacious and charming and had lots of hooks to hang our things.
It's pretty bare-bones living - no A/C, no glass on windows, no option for hot water from the shower (but why would you need hot water in this climate anyways). However, these aren't detractors if you know what to expect. It just adds to the charm of the space.
