Casa Las Alamedas Guanajuato

This was in a spectacular location near everything that I wanted to see in Guanajuato. The room was comfortable and clean. Value for the money paid was exceptional.

Very close to the center but far enough away to not be super noisy. Quaint 4 suite centuries old building in the old part of the city. Staff was delightful, basic accommodations. Close to everything.

A bit noisy ( just like the rest of the city), no coffee maker but a coffee shop close by.

Very nice room and space .

A bit hard to find and skookum stairs

Its comforts and has great location.

The host was considerate enough to send us photos of the stairs and entrance to the property beforehand. (It'd be not easy to find it without those photos) We could communicate in English. The room was spacious and clean. We experienced cold nights but there was a warm blanket. Hot water was available without any problems.

It's on the steep slope. You'd better to take a taxi

Las Alamedas is one of three (I think) rooms located in a restored century-old building just steps from Guanajuato's centro historico. The room is large and has decent Wi-Fi, a TV and daily cleaning. If you're a long-term traveler, there is a laundromat about a block away. The owner offers an airport pickup service at a reasonable rate. I enjoyed my stay at Las Alamedas and recommend it for independent travelers.
