The Old House 1147

The hotel was lovely. The room was fabulous. Cannot fault the staff, they were warm, friendly and helpful. Ate in the restaurant and the food was outstanding.

Room would benefit from some softer lighting. No lamps in there, just ceiling lights and they were very bright.

Had an extremely noisy couple in the room next door. There argued until 1.15am and I heard every word. There was no contact details in the room for reception to report.

Was right underneath the bar/ restaurant and was quite load from the chairs.

Very friendly staff, very accommodating beautiful building and exceptional value for money.

Hardly any sleep due to very inconsiderate guests. Obviously, it's not the accommodations' fault. I informed reception, and they apologised and would look into it.

It looked nice

My room had one plug socket. I found chocolate crumbs on the night stand. The remote to the tv had no batteries and I realised this after the staff had gone home. Which is annoying as there is no one at the hotel to help you. When I woke up at 5.30am to go to work I had two people knocking at my door saying they were trying to sleep and to be quiet !! What. Waste of money

After getting stuck in a flood the staff told me that it was prone to flooding but could have warned customers of the best way to get to the property

Room was extremely small, noisy with staff about as the room was next to the office

Advised we were able to have continental breakfast at 7:30 apparently this has changed the day before so only tea coffee or orange juice available
