Ice Bear Bar & Tourist Inn

a pleasant stay at ICE-BEAR-BAR/ Hacienda de Fredensborg! It was a positive surprise to stay in such a nice resort with very clean superior swimmingpool, the very nice an helpful staff - all in all good meals (whatever you ordered) - a warm welcome and a friendly together (you felt like in a family home). Room was tidy clean, hot shower and always fresh made smell from bedsheet and towels. I liked it very much to hang out my laundry and ready to start with dry towel at next morning already. Pool is lovely fired with differeent color-lights at night and invites you to swim at evening hours. They rent different sized motorbikes including helmet! - and you can choose for your own comfort. Bike-parking is under a roof; location was perfect for me - as its more closed to Tagbilaran (in 7minutes to City) - which offers you the better seaview in evening with plenty local restaurant, barbecue, live-bands and local nightlife! Its a 15min drive to Alona and 20min until end of Panglao-beaches. I prefered the trips to main-Bohol... in an hour to Chocolate hills or 1.5 hours to Anda... in 2.5 hours to Ubay. my 100% recommendation to choose Ice-Bear-Bar again during my next stay!! .. its worth the price including breakfast...

Nice big pool, Comfy rooms too

I like it that it's good value for money. Place is ideal for bigger group. I like that they have family rooms. There were about 17 of us staying for 3 nights. Happy with free breakfast/drinks. Catered for my hubby's non-dairy drinks. Owner, host, staff were very friendly & welcoming. Pool is decent size and clean. My nephews enjoyed playing the billiard (pool). Our shower was broken, they fixed it straight away. Can't comment much on food as my family always went out for dinner as we all like seafood. Otherwise great stay and highly recommend the place if you're looking for a budget place.

The place is nice.....we had a very huge room that can actually accommodate up to 6 or 7 persons

Renting tuktiok and paid 500 pesos ( one way) or more everytime we go out. Fare costs more if you are with 4 adults & 2 minors ( 13 & 6)

nice quiet place, more for rest than partying, very good breakfasts

The hotel offered a large room, with a large communal pool. We enjoyed the breakfast omelettes! The hotel was flexible and accommodating when we extended our stay.

The bedroom was very clean but the bathroom was dirty. When our room was refreshed the bathroom wasn’t touched apart from clean towels (the bin wasn’t emptied etc)
