Duli Beach Resort

The property is located in a beautiful beach! You just wake up and go for a swim or surf. You can chill listening to the waves! It has really great breakfast as well and the lunch and dinner we had there were really nice too! The stuff is friendly and helpful! You have everything you need!! We are definitely coming back!!

Die beiden Inhaber des Resorts waren sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir konnten jederzeit Fragen stellen oder Sachen wie Dreirad bestellen lassen, alles hat sehr gut funktioniert. Das komplette Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer ist einfach aber gut und wird jeden Tag sauber gemacht. Die Lage war für uns persönlich sehr gut, da diese abgelegen ist, wer allerdings etwas zentrales sucht, ist hier falsch. Man kann je nach dem vor dem Resort Roller mieten, es gibt aber keine Garantie das welche verfügbar sind. Wir hatten grosses Glück und konnten Schildkröten-Babys ins Meer laufen sehen. Zudem laufen überall Hühner umher, auch auf der Veranda und es gibt den einen oder anderen Streuner der zu Besuch kommt. Alles ist sehr einfach und harmonisch. Die Aussicht aus den Zimmern ist unschlagbar, direkt am Strand. The two owners of the resort were very friendly and accommodating. We could ask questions or order things like tricycles at any time, and everything worked very well. The entire staff is very friendly and helpful. The room is simple but good and is cleaned every day. The location was very good for us personally, as it is secluded, but if you are looking for something more central, this is not the place for you. You can rent scooters in front of the resort, but there is no guarantee that they will be available. We were very lucky and saw baby turtles running into the sea. There are also chickens running around everywhere, even on the veranda, and the occasional stray animal comes to visit. Everything is very simple and harmonious. The view from the rooms is unbeatable, right on the beach.

Das Essen war etwas eintönig, es gibt immer wieder das selbe und wenig Auswahl, wer wie wir länger dort ist, der hat dann bald mal genug. Für kurze Aufenthalte sicher gar kein Problem. Restaurants in der Nähe gibt es nicht. Generell ist es nachts und früh morgens sehr laut, da der Dschungel direkt hinter den Bungalows beginnt und das Rauschen vom Ozean ist sehr intensiv. Dies ist kein Kriterium, da es absehbar und normal ist, aber trotzdem ein Hinweis. Am Strand gibt es Sandflöhe, dies ist nicht weiter schlimm, es empfiehlt sich allerdings zu schauen das kein Sand mit ins Zimmer gelangt. Wifi gibt es nur begrenzt und auch keine Steckdose auf dem Zimmer. Alles was aufgeladen werden muss, kann bei einer Steckerleiste im Restaurant geladen werden. Dies war für uns auch kein Problem, da wir zur Entspannung da waren, aber für wen dies wichtig ist, der sollte dies wissen. The food was a bit monotonous, with the same dishes served repeatedly and little variety. Those staying longer, like us, will soon tire of it. For short stays, this is certainly not a problem. There are no restaurants nearby. In general, it is very noisy at night and early in the morning, as the jungle begins directly behind the bungalows and the sound of the ocean is very intense. This is not a criterion, as it is predictable and normal, but it is still worth mentioning. There are sand fleas on the beach, which is not a big deal, but it is advisable to make sure that no sand gets into the room. Wi-Fi is limited and there are no power outlets in the rooms. Anything that needs charging can be charged using a power strip in the restaurant. This wasn't a problem for us, as we were there to relax, but it's important to know for those who need it.

Location, ambience and food

- Turtle hatchery and release of baby turtles. We were lucky to arrive just in time to witness this. You can also donate to support your own nest. - Incredible view from the room right on the beach - Simple facilities but very comfortable and clean. We could hear the waves from our room. - Great food (highlighting the Dutch pancakes :) ) - Great surfing lessons and rentals, best (only?) Surfing spot in the region - Quiet and long beach. We were able to go on a 10k run to see a few neighboring beaches, but you have to go over some rocks (nothing too sketchy) - Really kind people

This was okay for us as we were not in a rush, but the food takes a while. Go with the flow and keep this in mind if you are hungry or are in a rush.
