Excellent breakfast, high quality ingredients beautifully served and plentiful. Gluten free options Offered and were excellent. Room warm and comfortable , spacious and lovely tea and biscuits. Staff friendly and helpful.

Lovely food and staff,rooms very clean

A little to hot in the room and really required a hand hold in the bath as felt unsteady and nothing to hold onto

The breakfasts were first class with very obliging and efficient staff. The selection was more than adequate with a nice balance of choices.

I must admit that my brother's Fish & Chips meal on the first night was less than impressive.

Lovely spacious self contained unit. Super large comfy bed. Shower took a little working out. But was fine. Brekkie was fab. The only minor neg. Was pre ordering breakfast items the day before. As you may not fancy it in the morning

"Lovely, comfortable Inn which is close to Burghley."

We stayed for one night for the Burghley Horse Trials weekend. The drive was around 30 minutes so a very good commute . The room was cosy and comfortable . Dinner was very good and breakfast was exceptional. Very good value compared with staying closer to the event. All of the staff were friendly and very efficient.

Nothing could have been better.

Absolutely beautiful property. The pub is so cute and cosy. The staff were so nice too. The room was immaculate and the bed so comfortable! The pictures on the website don’t do it justice. It was clean and smelt lovely on arrival.

The window had no blinds so had to have curtains shut most of the time for privacy as people walk past a lot and the pub window is directly opposite. Also the toilet flusher was broken so every time you pressed it the stopper came out and it was quite manky inside when it did.
