"It was a very relaxing and comfortable stay"

The owner is very friendly and kind. She picked us up in Koyasan. Foods are good and the house is very quiet. Perfect place for hikers after finishing Kohechi route.

Kaako was a wonderful host with a great sense of humour. She cooked the most delicious Japanese food and was very accommodating.

The futon mats to sleep on took a little bit of getting used to!

If you want to experience the traditional & more rural side of Japan, stay here! We were very warmly welcomed by Kaako, a fun and caring woman. Her family home lies in a beautiful and quiet environment. The room is spacious with a traditional Japanese lay-out. She cooks delicious meals with veggies straight from her garden. About 20 mins scenic drive from Koya. Highly recommended!
