The whole experience was amazing. Very lovely place, lovely staff (Brittany) We will be back.

Breakfast and evening food was very good. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good location. Nice atmosphere. Good facilities. Well stocked coffee, teas etc in bedroom.

Only gripe, management need to establish what times the bar closes, we'd had an evening meal out, came back at 9pm, the bar was in darkness, if we'd known it was going to be closed would have stayed out a bit later, need to have set times and stick to them. When booking our room it stated breakfast served till 9:30am, we were informed when arriving only until 9am, checked their website, it stated 9:30am and 9am!

Food was fantastic. A lovely pub, warm & friendly. Just an overnight stay for us before moving up to Whitby but would definitely return. Room was lovely & spotlessly clean.

Bathroom was cold even when we'd put the towel heater on. Courtyard rooms enter the hotel via the service corridor which isn't great but only a minor point.

It just suits our needs, comfy cozy room, immaculate and everything you need with fabulous food and friendly staff
