The outside appearance and location.

The establishment was very tired dusty and clearly not been loved for a long while. The drink prices were eye watering. The overall cleanliness of the bar especially the glass washing left a lot to be desired.

It was welcoming, the staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was very comfy and the food was excellent, plus the portions were huge.

Could do with a rear entrance from the car park

Travelling to the Scarborough Open Air Theatre for a concert; so had to drive but I was aware of the distance I had to travel. The location suited my needs on the day.

I thought the breakfast was Ok but a small plate for the full English Breakfast!

Beautiful room, clean, luxuriously comfortable, lovely breakfast. Amazing staff really friendly and professional. Good base for visiting the surrounding area.

We only stayed one night
