Window little draughty and quite noisy as single glazed window

Staff were lovely and helpful

Room was tidy but not inviting. The skylight window blinds don’t open so no natural light. The bed mattress need a vacuum. There was not decoration in the room so barren walls and bed (pictures show cushions and throws). There was no soap in the bathroom let alone shower gel. A lot of the sealant in the bathroom is moldy or needs replacing. The wooden steps up to the rooms are lethal. They are extremely slippery when wet and in poor repair. The door to the corridor where the bedrooms are wasn’t closed properly at night. The rooms are up the wooden stairs in a building attached to the pub. When you leave, the pub is locked up and there’s nobody around. The car park needs a sweep and tidy.

The place had a great character with very nice and friendly staff. We enjoyed the drinks in the pub downstairs as well! Would recommend for non-fussy budget customers.

Small amount of extra cleaning effort would make a world of difference (dust, tea spoons, towels in hall)

dont serve food on the night I stayed. room in poor condition, at least a decent shower. tea making facilities but no kettle due to it having gone missing, was promised some hot water so I could at least have a cup of tea before setting off. BUT THIS DID NOT HAPPEN, maybe due to the cost of electricity as mentioned by the landlord.

Friendly and helpful staff, good food at the inn, lovely surroundings!

- No breakfast at the inn (not advertised, but would be lovely) - I needed a place to hang my jacket - I did not like the automatic light in the bathroom - I needed a place to hang and dry the towels
