Scottish Inn Maggie Valley

This place was very nice. Room was very clean and spacious and the area was quiet. They have a beautiful creek in the back that they really need to take advantage of. This place is older but I think that adds to its charm. I was worried when I read the bad reviews but we had dogs with us and limited option. I spoke with the host and she told me they just did a renovation 2 months ago. We were passing through and only stayed 1 night, but I could see myself staying longer

The room phone did not work and the Dead bolt lock was broken, we were locked in the room and could not get out or contact the office since the phone did not work. We finally had to climb out a window to get to the office ! Then they asked us to leave without a refund for complaining! The Police had to come and mediate and we had to leave an additional 100. 00 deposit to stay in a room we had already PAID FOR!

Everything. Never stay here.

Quiet location right before you get into Maggie valley. Very clean. Nice little pool

One day the pool was closed for several hours in the middle of the day

The bed was uncomfortable. It clanged when you sat on it. The ac made loud noises. The television was very small. We tried to cancel the second night and wasn’t allowed to. We paid for 2 nights and only stayed 1.

There were bed bugs we left with bite marks all over 2 guest.

Was a little worried when we arrived about the motel but the rooms were somewhat updated and clean. The bed wasnt comfortable....a little too hard for us. I would stay there again but could use a little more updating.
