Scottish Inn Maggie Valley

We have had 3 stays here. Each year, it gets better. Planning to stay next year here for the WNC Jeepfest

Clean room and friendly staff.

Could use heavier blanket or comforter on the bed.

Nice location and clean updated rooms

Towels needed some bleach they were a bit discolored..

Just coffee

Too close to smoking guests

Location was great. Nice to have fridge and microwave, and it was clean.

No coffee, either in room or in office area. Saw a coffee maker in check-in office but no coffee was provided the next morning. Had to walk to nearby gas station to get coffee. Would have been nice to either have ability to make coffee in our room or to have it provided in the lobby.

Inside the room was new and clean. The outside was a bit dirty but they are in the renovation process. The room key did not work, we needed the staff to open the door each time. The A/C had a little musty smell. There was a phone but no cord or connected to anything to call out. The staff was very friendly.

The staff was friendly and accommodating.

The beds weren't very comfortable to me and we couldn't get the shower to work for some reason. Also, some stains were on a couple pillow cases.
