Clean room. Peace and quiet. Close to bart for easy transportation needs.

The location proved to be better than expected, as the hotel was also close to the additional event venue. The room was very clean and nicely furnished.

The lights on either side of the bed were a bit dim for reading at night.

Pleasant staff, extremely close to Berkeley Haas. Easy to get help, and check in and out. Overall a good experience.

I didn't get the room which was shown on Booking.com, instead a much smaller one. When I complained about this I was moved to a slightly larger room, but it was still smaller than the one promised on the webpage. During our conversation during I check-in I learned that room allocation is essentially arbitrary which doesn't make any sense. I didn't need much more space either way and everything in the room I actually got was ok (although I couldn't find a remote to the AC).

The lady at reception was really nice and gave nice tips to where to go. The area is quite and safe. Just a short walk from the tube station, target, bars and restaurant. Ideal if attending classe at Berkeley and save some money while there.

The structure is old and internet didn't work at all. But even if old, everything worked!

Location is close to Berkeley campus and dorms

It’s run down, dirty, cheap feeling.
