Downtown Berkeley Inn

Walking distance to BART and UC Berkeley. Cheaper than most other hotels in downtown Berkeley. Clean, and room was not cramped even with two people. Super friendly staff. Note: no breakfast is provided, and the hotel is across the street from a high school. That wasn’t a problem for us, but it’s worth knowing.

Bathroom a bit dated—not a bad thing, just an observation.

The wifi didn't work

Very clean. The bed was so comfortable. Hotel is in a nice location with many restaurants nearby.

Parking is limited.

No refrigerator

The room was large and spacious. There were lots of touches that were unexpected but very convenient. The bed was comfortable but most importantly, as others have commented, the place was very clean. I would happily stay there again as it's very convenient for the office and a very short walk from the bart.

My only complaint was there was a lot of early morning noisy traffic but I use ear plugs so not too bad.

Only a reasonable value on a very busy weekday. The rug was old and dirty. The bed had a wooded railing which stuck out 3 inches from the bed and was dangerous.
