Wildwood Inn

Beautiful, clean room with a gorgeous view from the private deck. We had our own personal hot tub on the deck and it was clean and the perfect temperature. Very close to Estes Park and even closer to the entrance to RMNP. Private parking spot so no worries about where to park. The room also had a lovely gas fireplace but we didn't get to use it. The only issue we had were the chain smokers on the next deck over. The lodge website says it's a "non-smoking property" but when I asked about the smokers since the smell was awful, I was told there is no smoking in the rooms but they can't control what people do outside. Then please don't advertise yourself as a non-smoking property. We should be able to sit in our hottub or eat on our deck without the constant stink of cigarettes.

Great place and SO close to the rocky mountains. Felt super safe and the room was very clean. AC works great and whenever we had a question, the kind woman we texted (same person that texts you at check in) was always responding within seconds. Fantastic town and really made our stay special.

There was pubic hair in the shower and after many requests was not cleaned after two days of being there. I’ll never stay here again.

More mirrors in the room

Well, the hot tub on the balcony really stole the show on this one! But the fireplace inside, the kitchenette, everything really made this place super wonderful to stay. Cozy and much more homey than most hotel rooms.

The view was nice, the balcony is large and has a nice table and chairs. The kitchen is large and well supplied. There's a full-size fridge, comfortable seating, large beds, and no smell in the suite at all. It really feels like you're a guest in someone's home, and that's a lovely, relaxing feeling.

Some of the shades don't cover the windows in the bedroom, and you can be seen from outside at night from the car park, and the balcony could have had a little more privacy. The pillows are small and not very supportive, but that's a personal preference.

Liked: Located very near entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park. Clean, comfortable beds, decent sized kitchenette area, spacious bathroom. Disliked: cool to barely lukewarm water in the shower the first morning, once steam got going it was fine. But no explanation about this or what needed to be done to make the steam work. It was by guess and by golly the first morning. The same with the TV. My husband is tech savvy or we would probably still be there trying to figure out how to work everything! No explanations and no one in the office to adk

We travel a lot & rely on reviews. Full kitchen is important. When I booked Wildwood Inn I checked amenities & pictures. Stated full kitchen. A full kitchen is a regular size refrigerator, not a mini fridge! We had block ice that we kept in the cooler while traveling & we put them in freezer at place we rent. We couldn’t fit all of our food in this fridge. No front desk -I texted them. Their solution move us to a room with a full fridge. We were in room 17. Rooms on sides of us were empty. They sent a cleaner over & offered the 2nd day to move us. Why wouldn’t they have put us in that room in the first place!! We decided not to move because I had spent a lot of time cleaning the room we were in! The filth that was on my wipes-disgusting! Headboard looked as if never cleaned! The kitchen table-gross! I want to mention room is very old. Stove, refrigerator & microwave must be from the 70’s. Window blinds don’t cover. Christmas lights shine through all night. In the text I was told the manager was off, but would contact me the next day-nothing. I want to point out since they don’t have a front desk you have to check in via a text. You must upload your drivers license and snap picture of yourself. Enter a credit card 200.00 refundable any damage. I was extremely unhappy with doing all of that thru a text link!! Only positive was close to entrance of park and bed was comfortable
