Wildwood Inn

Nice staff, very clean and beautiful.

Location was perfect.

We did an upgrade at an additional charge. When we arrived the place was nice & had enough space for everyone staying. As we looked around there was a carpet runner that had a shoe print possibly asphalt, the back of the chair had splashed dirty spots all over it. Fireplace was not cleaned out, countertops & kitchen table had crumbs. Kitchen table was sticky. The larger bedroom in the threshold the carpet tack strip was poking through & I caught the heel of my foot on it. In the same bedroom the shower has a broken shampoo dispenser all of the shampoo leaked out & could have been a slip hazard. We washed it out. I did text the staff. Apology was given. They offered to discount or refund the upgrade price we paid for. We never received a discount or refund & we were fully charged. I was told that housekeeping would take care of the cleaning first thing & the staff would make sure of it. The runner was replaced & fireplace was cleaned out. Nothing else in the rental was cleaned. At this point we are on the fence if we will be returning. The amenities that we were looking for seemed good. But the cleanliness & attention to the maintenance needs work. I really wish they would have followed through on the offer to discount or refund the upgrade cost. I stopped texting after I was promised things would be taken care of and it was only partially done. I even sent pictures when I texted because I didn't want to be charged for the issues.

The room was nice. The check-in process was a bear and there is no office to check into. Photo of your self, driver’s license sent via email and then they give you the code and your room number so you can check yourself in. Seemed a little invasive to me

Great stay

Very cute place to stay in Estes park! Convenient to RMNP and downtown Estes. The room was clean and love the self check in. The hot tub on the balcony was great.

I booked the Wildwood Inn on short notice. In reading the room descriptions, the room was marketed as having a hot tub in the description. There was also a photo in the photo gallery of the property with the caption of the room showing a hot tub on the deck. I booked the room specifically for the hot tub and the property having favorable reviews. After booking and paying for the room, I received confirmations from Expedia not matching the room I thought I booked. After conversations with the property manager, I learned Expedia markets jetted bathtubs as hot tubs. They are NOT the same. I also learned the photo gallery was deceiving. The room I booked was on the lower level, no deck, no hot tub. The property mgr stated they could not do anything about the misleading descriptions on the Expedia site. However, they have since updated the room to "jetted tub". They also stated I should call them directly in the future to avoid misleading room descriptions and confusion with photos in the gallery. I attempted to work with Expedia and they were horrible and would not acknowledge the misrepresentation. I will never use Expedia again. The room was very large, very clean, and nicely decorated, felt homey. The property is beautiful, assigned parking, has a club house with a hot tub and games, & shower pressure was great! Draw backs: walls may be "sound proof," but the ceilings and floors are NOT and the pipes have a loud hum whenever anyone in the building flushes the toilet.

Loved our stay. Very close to park entrance. Had everything we needed.

Very quiet off the main road beds are very hard and NOT comfortable fire place didn't work.Nice game room beautiful scenery decent hot tub on covered porch.

Elks roam around the property and was such a treat!
