The Melrose

The property was easy to find and had a real easy system for check-in and check -out. All I needed was a email and a code.

I wasn’t expecting much, but it was just a glorified rooming house. The floor in my room was uneven and the space was really small.

the bed was very uncomfortable, and the shower handle wasn’t attached at all, and the coffee machine was broken

Great location close to the beach

Walls are thin and floors are squeaky, hearing other guests throughout the night made it hard to find peace and quiet here, even with the sound machine provided. Also a small change that could make a big difference is providing a microwave in each room above the fridge which would save a trip up and down to the singular microwave in the lobby each time something needed to get heated up.

The location is good. Ample street parking, nice area. feels safe

Room in extremely poor condition and not well cleaned. peeling paint and floor everywhere. Extremely cold room with poor functioning heater and no available blanket. After spending all day outside in the cold, coming back to a cold bedroom where I need to wear longjohns and heavy wool socks to bed is not acceptable. The room was not very clean. there was dust and glitter on the floor. I left after the first night of my 3 day stay and they did not respond to my request for a refund.

Loved how close we were to the Asbury Park boardwalk!! And such a quaint setting!!

The location was great and good value for money.

The hot water and electricity went of for a short period of time.
