St Michaels Harbour Inn, Marina and Spa

The price.

Location, pool, views, bikes, spa.

The mattress was so saggy it hurt my back. The guest room HVAC was loud. Fitness was out of order. The deck could use a side table.

The room and view were great. The food was mostly good. Our breakfasts orders were not done correctly 2 times and the eggs were not cooked as requested. Otherwise the food was good

We loved the location right on the St. Michael’s harbor with beautiful views of the Chesapeake Maritime Museum lighthouse and many vessels navigating the Miles river to dock at the hotel marina. The hotel was so clean and the staff - especially Kevin and Nicole at the front desk were so welcoming and attentive to all of our needs and concerns, always quick to make recommendations including recommending Jesse, captain of Big Will II who gave us a great private tour of the Miles River and harbor while searching for dolphins to view and sharing interesting stories and recommendations of local spots to visit. The attention to details in our room did not go unnoticed, such as a large stall shower with ample shelves for the great smelling hair and body products, a double sink vanity with drawers and Cotton balls and q-tips, hair dryer, full length mirror, hand held makeup mirror. The pretty wall unit in the bedroom/living room area had a desk area with a stool and lamp as well as a TV and refrigerator/freezer and pretty nautical decorative accent pieces. Although we did not opt for one of the larger rooms, our room had a small couch at the foot of the pretty and comfy bed. On each floor and in the small lobby shop a coffee dispenser that even offered decaf and iced options was much appreciated. Complimentary bikes and free parking was also a plus. We would definitely return.

The one huge disappointment was breakfast at Harrison’s Harborlights restaurant at the hotel. It is a shame that with such a beautiful location with gorgeous waterfront views, it was the worst breakfast we have ever had. The people who were running it seemed nice and apologized, but were clueless about the bad reviews they have received. Because of that experience and the many other bad reviews of the food, we decided not to have lunch or dinner there. It would be beneficial to the hotel and guests if they could lease the two-level waterfront restaurant and bar premises to one that could offer a better experience and draw larger crowds to this prime location.

The property is beautifully landscaped and overlooks the water. It is easy walking to shops, restaurants & the marina. The room looked newly renovated and was super clean. The staff was very pleasant and helpful and offered help.

Large kitchenette in a suit is worthless because it has no microwave or stove.

Subpar food at best, wrong orders, no condiments, 24$ fish bites with 4 fish sticks and no sauce, late food, no service, so incredibly slow it's not worth it. Rooms, location, nice, maid service don't bring towels. Stay for the view- DO NOT EAT HERE

Guys, if you want a sure 🔥 way to impress your date, take them to this hotel, this is the place to be. Quiet, relaxing and mind settling is how I would describe it. And, I want to give Nicole L a big shout out for her efforts above and beyond the call of duty, thank you Nicole!
