My wife and I stayed here 2 nights for our anniversary and instantly fell in love with Saint Michaels. We stayed in a deluxe guest quarters room on the 3rd floor, room 320. The room was beautiful. We didn’t pay extra for a room with a view, but we were glad we didn’t. The room was big, had high ceilings and had a couch to relax on. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was spacious. 2 sinks and a large shower, it was plenty big. And it was very quiet. I’ve read previous complaints about the hotel being dated, but we didn’t find that to be the case at all. It’s about a 7 minute walk to town, but the hotel offers a convenient shuttle if preferred. It was a nice, easy walk along the harbor and through a cute, quiet neighborhood. There is also a good amount of parking in town that we used when we were shopping for convenience and we didn’t have an issue finding a spot. We saw beautiful sunsets from the dock. We ate breakfast at Harrison’s out on the patio and found it to be reasonable and good. Our only complaint was that the fitness center had 3 pieces of equipment and 2 were out of order. But that would never deter us from coming back - we got plenty of walking in during our visit. We’d stay here again in a heartbeat and are hoping to return at Christmastime ☺️

Beautiful location on the Marina

Our room could have had a chair for helping to get dressed instead of a huge chest of drawers that isn’t really required. The internet connection kept dropping out on the balcony.

The room is exceptional! It is an apartment, more than a hotel room. The bedroom and the living area are two separate rooms, both with patio doors and a view of the harbor.

For $400 per night, there should be someone to help with luggage. It is nearly impossible for one person to open the heavy lobby doors to bring in luggage. There is no electric door opener/ADA compliance. There is only one luggage cart, which is rarely available. This alone drops my rating by two stars. The cream of crab soup is the blandest thing I have ever tasted. It was lukewarm heavy cream with a couple of flakes of white fish. Not even any crackers. Also, a towel and soap in the kitchen should be provided.

The staff, the views and the spa were all excellent. The free shuttle and bikes for guests added to the convenience of the location.
