Dark room. It was cold out and door leaked air around the edges making for cold on one side of the room and hot next to the wall heater.

the room wasn't horrible and the bed was comfortable.

website pictures are deceiving. It makes it look like you will be staying in the little cottages pictured. charged $75.00 for bringing a pet and the rugs were already stained while our dog did not make one mess.

Although I didn't use any of it, I like that they had all sorts of stuff you would expect at home (chargers games kitchen ware)

There were no paper towels on the paper towel holder

Mother Nature's Inn is perfectly described in marketing literature as a small and rustic boutique mom and pop-operated lodge. We love it, and it's the only place we ever stay in Tahoe City. It's like being handed the keys to a friend's cabin in which all the furniture and decorative items have the appearance of being hand-made. We just returned home in Sacramento this afternoon from a weekend in Tahoe City to celebrate my new fiancée's birthday. Once again, Mother Nature's Inn was our home base while in town, allowing us to forget about a need to drive everywhere. Once in Tahoe City, someone new to Mother Nature's Inn will quickly come to understand what a perfect location they've chosen for lodging, at what could be called Ground Zero of Tahoe City's dining and shopping attractions. On this trip we sailed with Tahoe Sailing Charters (just across the street), enjoyed a birthday dinner at one of Tahoe City's premier restaurants (across the street), shopped at a favorite jewelry store (just a few minutes' walk west of the lodge) and enjoyed several outstanding breakfast meals at another favorite restaurant located just beyond the entrance to the lodge's parking lot. Can't wait for our next getaway to Tahoe City...

We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay at MNI. We had room 10 which is on the first floor at the end of the corridor & as such was very quiet. Although the walls are quite thin all guests were respectful of each other & there was no loud noise after 10pm. The location is brilliant, just across the road from the lake & not overly touristy. There are some nice places to eat all in walking distance. This isn't a fancy, glitzy hotel so don't expect that, what you get is a clean, comfortable motel type room.

Great location. Good amenities and clear instructions. Easy check-in/out and very responsive and insightful hosts.

Room was comfortable and quiet, fully equipped kitchen and excellent location.

Not spotlessly clean, hair in the bathroom, sand in the fridge and some candy wrappers and little Lego pieces on the carpet.
