Nice and cozy

We stayed multiple nights and because they don't service the room we didn't have washcloths the second night.

The bunk bed was really squeaky and uncomfortable every time someone move around.

Amazing location close to everything, comfortable, warm, spacious and cozy room. It feels like almost like a studio. We had a lovely stay!

Bed was too soft and not so comfortable (but that’s our thing, others might like it). Too many emails from the staff (at least once a day). Toilet flush wasn’t working very well.

The room is in a great location, easy to walk to restaurants. The bed was comfortable, and the heater worked really well. parking and check-in was easy.

The room was not very clean upon arrival. There were some hairs in the bathroom on the toilet and in the shower, even actually on the bed. There were also some stained towels. We were very tired when we checked in, and the owners of the place were very quick to respond to my message and had the Cleaner come, but we were very tired and she did not speak any English and she honestly seemed really rude and did not want to clean the place. So we settled for some new towels. I get it that they were quick to respond, but it’s pretty annoying to show up to a dirty room when you’re tired. I didn’t even want to review, but I kept getting emails to review the place.

The place did have thoughtful extras like snow brushes for your car if you forgot or broke your own and coffee, tea and actual creamer in the room. Price was ok on midweek, non-peak, but any more would not be worthwhile. Proprietors/staff are remote, so I didn't have occasion to deal with staff directly.

They describe their place as "boutique" and "cute". I'd trade some boutique for more attention to cleaning and maintenance. It wasn't awful, not good. They didn't tell me that having the room cleaned during my stay would be a special request at $35 per. I was one fairly neat guy staying for only 4 days, so it wasn't a problem, but on a longer stay or more people in the room, you'd be paying extra. Old wooden structure with 10 rooms in back of a store that fronts on the main street. Again, not bad but a little tight and not much sound insulation.
