"Nice Charming Motel"

Very Comfortable charming little motel in a great location in the center of Carmel Valley. Staff was very nice and accommodating. Nice get away

Was not able to turn on the hair dryer. And the soap dispenser in the shower only dispensed 2 squirts on the first day. None after that. For we elderly people, perhaps handrails for safety in the shower would be beneficial

"Quirky and Convenient"

The property is quirky more than it is European. The sheets are softer than almost anything I've ever laid on, wow! The towels are fluffy and thirsty too. They put the little things in the room, fridge, microwave, WATER, knife, corkscrew, coffee maker, coffee and tea, cups, plates, knives, spoons and forks. Our hostess was kind and not terribly intrusive, just everywhere all the time minding the property as you'd expect. A short walk or drive to lots of wineries and places to eat. But this is Northern California, so there's no "budget" option, however, you eat so well, you don't really mind. Prices are high, but quality is too! Overall three stars (mnore like 3.75, if I could give it) because it is more like a roadside motel than a "European Lodge" but that's okay once you get past the name. Enjoy this little space for a long weekend or just pass through.

"My stay"

First time being here ! It was very accomdating and comfortable ! Corolla was very nice to me and made sure my stay was perfect ! I am handicapped and she made sure I was taken care of ! The lodge is unique as it is small but quaint and there are many restaurants close by ! The inside of the room was very nice and had many features that made us very comfortable ! I will visit this lodge again !! David

"Perfect"

It was a jewel in the crown in the beautiful area of Carmel valley. Corolla was a perfect host made us feel very welcome 5 stars thank you
