Very friendly staff in a beautiful location right by the river

We stayed on top floor the stairs were not good it was a very warm night so had window open the noise in the street outside was bad until nearly 2 in the morning

Basic but good value short break stay in an perfect location with access to all parts of Bridgnorth including Severn Park for water activities.

No breakfast option so had to go into town for that. Fire Alarm activated 5am in the morning and emergency keyholder numbers did not work and emergency lighting failed in stairs and landing areas. We had to call fire brigade. And stand outside with the alarm screaming. This is a fun lively pub hotel, but it's a very old building, it's crucial fire safety issues are top of the list to avoid tradegy.

Room was excellent. Location was ideal for accessing the town. Very friendly staff.

More light in the bathroom.

By side of river, minimal traffic, Wanted really old property and that's what we got. Rooms where full of character , take away bathroom and you felt like you where back in time 500 years ago.

No breakfast provided, but plenty of cafe,s

Quirky, clean, central for our visit. Loved the history of the pub and the area.

We were left in the building alone without any information for emergencies. Music was blasting until midnight. The proprietor is as miserable as sin.

Everything, wouldn't recommend it to anyone

Room was comfortable and very well equipped with towels, body wash, moisturiser, tea, coffee, sugar, hot chocolate and a cream biscuit each. The staff were friendly, helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We tried the Bassa Villa Pilsner which was ace!

There was nothing not to like. The stairs were steep but we were pre warned about them. There was a handrail to help me up and down the stairs to the first floor where our room was so even with my mobility issues I managed okay 👍
