"Completely unacceptable lack of ANY visible mangement. I will not be back."

Well situated and normally a pleasant night-stop.

Arrived at 1700. Nobody on reception. No answer to calls. Searched the building and found someone in a back room. BUT she could not access the computer. Rang a manager who would not help. Five of us standing around by now. We finally got a key at 1725. Next. Went to the bar for a whisky. They DO NOT stock ANY blended whisky (Grouse, Bell's, Dewar ...) Only expensive single malts. Probably the only pub in England with that policy? Had a beer instead. Next. Went for dinner. Simple order placed at 1930 arrived at 2015.
