The Pheasant Inn

We stopped here on the way home from gatwick and it was the perfect choice! This place is beautiful, the beds are the comfiest ever and we slept like babies. The restaurant is lovely too, we found both the dinner and breakfast excellent. All of the staff were warm and welcoming, we would definitely return here again.

Breakfast v.good ..location quiet ....unfortunately woken up at 4.50 am , by delivery van , ...but went back to sleep in the very comfortable bed.

It was very comfortable and good service

The shower water temperature was too hot. There was some road noise at night.

The room was clean, comfortable and well furnished. Breakfast and dinner were delicious, and the staff were all friendly and helpful.

Food was a bit hit or miss. At dinner, “triple cooked chips” were not cooked through and not even hot all the way through. At breakfast, black pudding was rock hard. The muffin of eggs Benedict was so hard that it could not be cut with knife and fork. Perhaps some ingredients were more fresh than others. Overall, food was disappointing in what is claimed to be an excellent restaurant.

Lovely clean rooms, quiet location, great food in the restaurant. Really welcoming staff.

Very noisy bedroom doors, if you're going for a quiet nights sleep it's not the best choice.

The food was excellent and the staff all very helpful.
