A genuine classic, not often seen anymore. Outstanding beer and excellent food, but definitely a pub not a restaurant. The beer is brewed on site, and is worth the trip alone. A very comfortable bed, in an air conditioned room. A beautifully powerful shower. We've been walking Offa's Dyke, and as our last night of the trip, the White Horse was a real treat

Air conditioned room with plenty of space. Good food

The room I had was on the ground floor adjacent to the main road. A pair of ear plugs was supplied. Thankfully there wasn’t much traffic overnight but I was told lorries can sometimes park outside running their engines.
