Really lovely pub, it’s quite new and is spotless. Very comfortable bed and large room. The food was great and the staff were friendly and helpful. Would return if in the area.

Cars parked right outside our bedroom window and people walking passed could see in so had to keep curtains closed. As it was only for one night it wasn’t too much of an issue.

Lovely spacious room which we were able to store our bikes in overnight too! Friendly staff and great breakfast buffet - and a lovely lady even brought me a teapot when I asked!!

Nothing really - it was a mile out of town but an easy ride for us to eat out, though there was a restaurant in the hotel.

From the minute we walked into this pub/hotel. the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Our bedroom was quiet and a good size, a fan had helpfully been provided (our visit was during hot weather) and the bed was extremely comfortable. The buffet breakfast was very typical for a pub/hotel but very tasty.

The location. The pub is at the back of Amble nowhere near the sea. It would have taken about 20 minutes to walk there through a housing estate - so we had to drive to eat out in the town.

Very dog friendly, excellent location. Comfortable room.

Large room. Huge comfortable bed. Outside door.

Location although handy for the main road. Bathroom was a bit dated.
