It was a cool funky place. The view was absolutely beautiful from the back deck. Loved being so close to hiking trails!

Carpet really needed some help.

Great location to enjoy sunset and sunrise view of expansive view of the bay.

Limited on site parking.

The location is ideal. Remote and scenic yet 15 minutes to quaint downtown Mill Valley. The architecture is welcoming and views breathtaking.

The rooms are not air conditioned and end of summer weather warm the rooms get quite stuffy. Rooms have doors to private balcony which would allow a nice breeze inside. It’s nice dogs are allowed however the balconies fence to adjoining rooms a small mid size dog can easily escape to adjoining room. Next door was a small dog and our dog bigger we couldn’t enjoy the balcony cause of the defective balcony not enclosed completely. The views are spectacular but the windows were not clean.

The location is excellent--really, it's the only reason to stay here. Just across the road is the entrance to trails that take you into Muir Woods, and the views from room balconies are fantastic. Also, the breakfast is oddly more substantial than the 'continental' term they use to describe it.

The inn is vastly understaffed, so none of my emailed questions were answered. Also, the breakfast staff did not collect our order cards as we were told that they would, so we just had to order when we came up to eat. The inn is in need of an update--doors were grubby, the ceiling had been patched and painted a different color, and the woodwork was battered. The room amenities were also substandard--no mini-fridge and no kettle/coffee maker. Oh, and if you have any mobility issues, this is not a place for you: there are stairs everywhere, and the only elevator (outside) was out of order.

We loved the view from our room. The bed and linens were top notch. The staff was friendly and very helpful. It is in a great location to get to the local sites, such as Muir Woods and Stinson beach.

The Inn is dated and in need of a renovation. The lower level to our room had a mildew smell but fortunately the room itself was fine. The breakfast was adequate but carb loaded. The bathtub didn't hold water. The days we were there the workman started early and made it impossible to eat on the deck. The dining room has a weird stale smell so outside was preferable.

The views, location, staff, and customer service were EXCEPTIONAL. The ease of check in/out, parking, and overall comfort exceeded expectations. We felt safe and at home the whole stay. The amenities in the room were wonderful, particularly the bath tub and the balcony.

The quality of the food in the restaurant was a little underwhelming, especially for the prices charged. Also, the bed in the room was very uncomfortable.

There needs to be some maintenance such as replacing cushions that are tattered and torn on outside chairs. Breakfast was not as good (quiche was soggy) and the breakfast orders were not picked up the night before as we were told.

Everything was terrific! It would be great to have a keurig or any kind of coffee maker in the room Also.. there was no warning about all the stairs! It was fine with us …. But I realized that had my sister come she couldn’t have used them very well. Perhaps a warning in the confirmation would be a good idea Kelly was WONDERFUL!!!! We loved the food, too …. We loved staying there…. Thank you!’
