Lovely venue - beautiful setting in a small village surprisingly close to M6. Couldn't believe the price for a double room with breakfast! Such a lovely room and dinner in the restaurant was very good.

Location was good Food was lovely well priced and presented well. Shower was great and towels lovely and white and soft. Welcome tea coffee and biscuits available

Room was dated furniture was worn with marks bed was lumpy, bedding had a split on the side Cushions on the bed were stained Carpet was dirty, the room had dust behind the furniture. Kettle didn't work.

The breakfast was amazing.. staff very nice and helpful

The toilet brush and holder were dirty and had dirty water in it..

Lovely old hotel, great breakfast & superb staff.

Lovely big bed & fresh white linen. Sadly let down by the attention to detail. No bed side lamps, general cleanliness in room & bedroom.

The staff were lovely the food was great the beer was nice and the place had loads of character.

The shower had a leak and constantly dripped so all the inside and tiles were mouldy. We did mention it but unfortunately because it was easter weekend they had no maintenance staff to sort the problem. The manager was lovely about it and offered us some complementary drinks and 10% off the food bill. We were just unfortunate with our room. The bed was hard and the pillows were flat and when you looked inside the pillow cases the pillows were all stained and needed throwing away we didn't dare look at the mattress.

Great location, we were visiting Nantwich, so absolutely ideal. Parked up, lovely welcome, got taxi into town.
