Centrally located - lively pub setting so some atmosphere Breakfasts were good quality and plentiful Slept well and beds comfy - shower large in my room

It’s an old building and as a consequence some of the stairs are a bit off camber - just have to take care of I had a slight issue with room which I had cause to raise - owner was quick to respond and said would sort - but it didn’t end up being sorted - don’t know why - but it was only a minor thing - nothing really to orevent going back

Nice old building. Room was nicely decorated and clean. The fish pie I had for the evening meal was really tasty.

The breakfast was at 9am-10am only and everyone came together at 9am so it took ages to get the breakfast and it was a little disorganised. It would have been good to know the time of breakfast at the time of booking as we then wouldn’t have chosen to have it. It was too late for us. The staff throughout were a bit functional and the vibe was a bit unfriendly.

Sfeervolle plek om te verblijven. Je slaapt in een middeleeuws huis, middenin het centrum. Toch is het s’nachts heel rustig. Vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Heel gezellig.

Boven de pub in hartje Fowley. Fowley is een heel gezellig toeristisch plaatsje en voor 1 of 2 nachten is de Shipp Inn een prima plaats. Gezellige, zeer vriendelijke eigenaar. Eten in de pub was prima en van goede kwaliteit. Ontbijt was goed. Het was wel even wennen dat de ( prive)badkamer aan de andere kant van de gang was. ( schoen tussen de deur als je 's nachts naar de wc moest).Maar faciliteiten waren prima.

Parkeren is wel een ding. Het is een heel toeristisch dorp, weinig parkeerplaatsen. Veelal in gebruik door surfers. Ook het vinden van de lokatie door de smalle straten was een uitdaging. Maar dat hoort erbij in een vakantie.
