Rural location with views over the dale. Exceptionally friendly staff and fellow guests made for a homely, enjoyable atmosphere and a great evening. Good ales, excellent and plentiful home cooked food. Good sized room, large bathroom, traditional iron bed frame.

There was some underfloor vibration noise from what I guess was the plumbing. Room facilities (e.g. TV, shower) were a bit dated but worked fine.
