Got ant and cockroach in the room
FIThe AC worked, close to the pier, room was okay size, local restaurants nearby and an ATM about 10 min walk away at Petronas (do NOT use the one across the street).
Small ants in the room and on the bed, stained bedsheets, bathroom window could not be closed, no safety box.

MYMYMYSimple and straightforward. The room I took was pretty cozy for a solo traveller the bathroom was surprisingly spacious. The room had some pretty nice soft lighting. On ground level there were a few eateries, including a KFC, and a pharmacy. A short walk to Tg Gemok jetty and the express bus stop (which is close to the black painted corner shop).
In the corridors, you could smell cigarette smoke when it was clearly supposed to be a non-smoking Hotel. Luckily, the smell did not creep into the room too much.
