A great location, the staff were extremely friendly, the room was nice.

The radio woke us up extremely early, lots of bugs come through the window, the food was not good at all for what we had ordered for dinner though breakfast was nice.

Wonderful place to stay in the middle of Peak District and a great location to walk to Chatsworth House. The staff are so friendly and welcoming, the room/beds were very comfortable with an amazing shower and heated bathroom floor. The food in the Inn was fantastic and definitely exceeded expectations. Would absolutely recommend as a place to stay to anyone wanting to visit the area. Lots of parking at the property too

Only minor issue was the noise from the people in the room above us, we were the ground floor and the upstairs room must have wooden floors. It sounded like furniture moving very late past 12am on Saturday, voices do travel so could hear talking too. I appreciate it is an old building but it might benefit from having a rug or carpeted floor upstairs to muffle the sound a bit

Lovely atmosphere and location, good food and friendly staff

Nice and cosy with a homely feel with log burners in the bar area. Also quiet. The free EV charging was a bonus. Only having a hybrid to charge meant I was able to get a full battery.

Room was slightly tight for space with the bath in the bedroom. But it is a very big bath.
