We booked the day before and got the last room so I wasnt expecting too much. Room was clean and spacious as was bathroom which had plenty of room to put things. Staff were all friendly and helpful,

I always find that it can be difficult to find decent lighting to apply makeup. No lights directly over a mirror or mirror too far away to see well. But a minor point. I feel the lighting much be arranged by men in most hotels!!

Cool to be in a true old inn. Modest but clean furnishings. Great location in the heart of Hebden Bridge. Ten minute walk to train station..

Old buildings mean some slightly crooked floors and my room happened to have a bed that slanted backwards. Probably not an issue for most people but a little uncomfortable for me. Breakfast was offered but unfortunately did not start as early as I needed either morning. There was some trouble with the card reader as I was leaving to catch a train, but the staff was as nice as possible. I just had to be patient.

Very central to all the shops and restaurants also the Trades club where we went to a gig .

Nothing
