The host, the vibe…was welcomed and it felt homely

Very affordable. Lovely family running the hotel. Kitchen has everything you need. There is a small market down the road where we would go everyday to have fresh juice and delicious lunch !

Perhaps a bit far from the centre - about a 10 min walk which may not seem like a lot but in the heat it feels like a lot. No ammenities other than a kitchen and 3 hammocks.

Good location. The rooms have a beautiful shady garden. Great shared kitchen and a lovely table in the garden to sit round and eat

Room was average and the water both from the tap and for flushing the toilet was poor / low pressure.

The property is in a quiet location. The beach and center of town are about 5 to 10 minute walk. The room is clean. The property owners ,Sandy and Ignacio, are wonderful people and live on-site.

Our issues may have been unique and a coincidence so I will only state the issues. We stayed here for 3 nights , thought we booked for four. when we arrived we found out the hotel was overbooked , and so Ignacio arranged our transport and booked us into another wonderful hotel for the night. He also arranged for transport Bach to Art Maya the following day. A wonderful gesture. That evening we were without water and the following morning we had water , but only cold water. The following day my girlfriend noticed that her earrings and ring were missing from the room. Very disturbing and sad. we notified the owners to make them aware of this issue for future reference. of course, the jewelry was not recovered. As stated earlier, the owners are wonderful people, but the issues we encountered need to be addressed
