friday night was loud

The staff at the bar were lovely and very friendly and welcoming. And... The breakfast was out of this world!!! Those sausages 🤤 and bacon rashers 🥓 were so fresh and juicy. Honestly, I will go back there again when in Exeter 💜

I wished the pub would open later than 11 😭

The landlord was rude he told us that booking.com Did not always Take out The money when they say it has ?? Which was a load of rubbish As booking.com certainly Did It took me five minutes to find this information and prove that we had paid already so he was trying get the money for staying Twice out of us !! The Room has no bedside lamps Had only 1 socket for 2 plugs only for the tv & kettle The mattress was not comfortable at all I had to sleep on top of the duvet with a blanket to be a bit comfortable had a restless night The bathroom was horrendous The tv and kettle was situated in the wrong place For £90 i have had better in london for the money This is one up from being homeless

The toilet seat was dangerously loose, I couldn't get any water in the kettle from the sink, and the temperature mixer on the shower didn't work - there were two settings, either cold or slightly not cold, thankfully hot water worked at the sink

It was comfortable and all I needed from a single room. Good value for money.

Quieter street but that can't be helped.
