Property Notes

Please be aware that the hotels restaurant is only open for lunch on Sundays and is open Monday-Saturday for evening meals. Included in New Year's Eve rooms are: New Years Eve party till late, live music by the local band "Clarity" and a hot buffet served at 21:00. Please be aware the hotels bar is open from 5pm every day except Sunday when it is closed all day. It closes at 10pm Monday to Wednesday, and at 11pm Thursday to Saturday. The restaurant serves meals from 5.30pm - 8.00pm (last food order) every day except Sunday when it is closed. Check in is from 3pm each day, with the latest check in 9pm Monday-Saturday and 6pm Sunday.

Lovely place to stay. Staff so friendly and welcoming. Food was good especially the breakfast. Very easy to get to with private parking. Nice spacious room with comfy chairs to sit in. We stayed 2 nights in room 14. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

A later check out time of 12pm instead of 10.30am would be better.

"Staff are great and the accommodation perfect"

Perfect spot for us, as we were walking Yorkshire Wolds Way and it us en route. But would visit again if ever in the area as the food was delicious and reasonably priced. Staff were so friendly and accommodating, which made the stay even better. Great breakfast (included in the price, which is unusual for the area judging by the other places we’d considered). Loved it

"Welcoming inn in North Yorkshire"

Very welcoming inn right on the A64. Steve & Sharon made a really big effort to ensure we were comfortable and well-fed.

Unfortunately the shower in one room wouldn't stay on, and just one beer was available on tap when we stayed.
