Excellent breakfasts & dogs allowed in to appropriate section. Very welcoming and friendly staff. Good dog walking paths nearby and convenient parking. Really nice restaurant & choice of meals. Easy drive into town.

Lovely warm welcome Great hotel Lots of character!

From initial contact with our booking, through arrival to departure our hosts couldn't have been more helpful and attentive. The interaction with the hosts, and many other guests was extremely welcoming and led to a thoroughly enjoyable stay.

This place is brilliant! We were walking the Yorkshire Wolds Way and had a 26 mile day from Fridaythorpe. The host was fantastic her called to check we were okay when we over ran on our ETA. We had dinner at the Greyhound and the food was fab, excellent portion sizes and really tasty. The room was massive way bigger than expected and very tastefully decorated. Bathroom was very well appointed and beds were super.

It was spot on cant really think of anything negative to say about the place.

The rooms are really great for the price. Steve and Sharon are super friendly and we had a fab meal in the pub on arrival.

On stepping into the pub we were greeted by very friendly helpful owners. Our room was beautifully cleaned and lovely decorated. Very comfy bed and lovely warm shower. Breakfast was excellent, cooked breakfast came quickly and there were lots of choices for breakfast on the menu. We loved our one night stay and will highly recommend staying here. Thankyou Victoria

Comfortable and cosy room with clean and modern furnishings. I also enjoyed reading about the pub’s history!

Only extra I would add is a little more light in the main room. It was a little dark when the curtains were closed.
