Hotel Ristorante Schlössli

Das Hotel ist wunderschön gelegen in Luzern und sehr gut zu erreichen. Wir haben dort lediglich eine Nacht verbracht, aber die war sehr erholsam. Das Personal ist super klasse und das kleine Lokal hat einen wundervollen Biergarten in dem man prima essen kann. Alles in Allem werden wir dieses Hotel wieder buchen!

Everything was beautiful, very clean, accommodating. Overall wonderful and comfortable stay. The location is so quiet and peaceful !!! Food was delicious !

Clean room and bathroom, size was small but as expected--perfect for a solo traveler who just needs a shower and a bed! Nice courtyard right outside of rooms, not private but quiet, with my own table to sit at. Easy to find, a 15-20 minute bus ride from Lucerne, and the hotel is right across the street from the bus stop. Neighborhood was very pretty and close to the lake; I felt safe walking by myself in the evening. Restaurant was fine; I had dinner there one night but wasn't blown away by food or service.

Rooms are all on ground floor and right around the corner from the restaurant, so just something to keep in mind safety-wise. There is a church clocktower that tolls every 15min; it didn't really bother me, but I know other visitors found it excessive.

The room was basic but comfortable. Location was ideal for short journey into Luzern. The breakfast was adequate and good service. Nothing too much for the staff.

Tea or coffee makings in room. No English TV channels not even CNN news.

What I remember most was how helpful the staff were.

It was unavoidable and quaint, but if you don't want to hear church chimes you'd need to look elsewhere.
