Good location, lovely continental breakfast, gentleman who booked us in was very helpful..

It was cozy and quiet. For the price, it was good value for money. The room was neat and the lawn in front was nice.

The reception and greeting was a bit quick and and we were not really informed about checkout time. We assumed the checkout was 12pm and hence decided to go out in the morning. On returning to the hotel, we were 'scolded' by the staff about not checking out at 11AM in a harsh manner. This was a mistake and not done on purpose plus it was not communicated to us in the first place.

Bus stop at door, and train 5minutes walk.

Check in was terrible. Staff member did not say hello or smile, very abrupt. Asked, what time are you leaving ! Checkout, bit weird, restaurant was closed, gave key to a guy who half opened door. Church bells, and more church bells!! Very loud. My stay closer to town was much more pleasant and welcoming.

We really liked the owner of the property. He was most helpful with tour ideas. The food in the restaurant was exceptional. We would stay at this location again.

The only thing we were not ready to experience was, the bells ringing from the bell tower starting at 7:00 am.

Everything! Location is great, easy to find and easy on public transport. Charming authentic hotel with great and clearly very popular restaurant downstairs. Staff were warm, welcoming and friendly. Room was clean and comfortable, basic, but we knew that. We ate in the restaurant and the food was excellent.

The clock tower nearby chiming from 7am to 10pm was irritating in the early morning but not a huge deal
