Crown Inn at Tolldown

The service was great and everything was clean and nicely decorated. Plus the pub food and drinks were delicious.

The wifi could have been better.

Staff were attentive, friendly . Evening meal was excellent and value for money Starters and main meals were delicious Breakfast was superb So much choice

The rooms were very nicely decorated and comfortable.

The room was very stuffy and hot and the only window opens to the parking lot. Asked for a fan and staff said that they didn’t have any. (We also didn’t see any staff over the age of 25. Felt a little like they were saying no because they didn’t want to work any harder)

Great food, clean rooms, good shower, big car park

The bed was uncomfortable

The room and breakfast were excellent and the staff were very accommodating.

The only glitch was in the evening when we had food in the restaurant. The choice was a bit limited and there was a bit of a problem with the size and shape of one portion of small cod.

Just off the M4. Short drive to Bath. Separate accommodation block overlooking the car park. Safe secure. Rooms excellent some a little dark. Smiling helpful staff. Good chef. Not changed over the years.

Ideal location off motorway. Good parking . Comfortable bed.

Breakfast disappointing. Overcooked bacon, sausage and egg. Only option for toast was sourdough. Not asked about allergies. Just disappoited.

We loved this Inn.It was filled with charm and character.The staff were so friendly, helpful and welcoming .The room was beautifully decorated with a very comfortable bed .The breakfast was great quality and the pub food was very good.Theres nothing we didn't like and we will most definitely be back.Thankyou so much to all the staff at The Crown.
