Woolpack Inn

This is the 2nd time we have stayed here and it’s always a pleasant stay. The staff are so attentive, specifically the gentleman with the accent behind the bar!

No cons for me

Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were great, good for the treks ahead. Dinners were something to look forward to, my Mutton Chili was exceptional.

Fan in my bathroom was very loud and after switching light off the fan kept running for a very long time.

Absolutely love where this is situated, lots of amazing walks and very peaceful with picturesque views. The staff are amazing too every time, first time we have met Miles, such a lovely man. They also do outstanding stone baked based pizzas.

What a great place to stay! Staff are super nice and helpful and it’s very dog friendly, made you feel comfortable soon as you entered the property. The pub on an evening is a good vibe with plenty to do-darts,pool, games,watch the football…the food and beers-spot on! It’s in a great location for many walks, views are great just from sitting in the beer garden! Room I was more than happy with, spacious (even the shower) with a mountain view soon as you open the curtains.

Door handle in the bathroom was faulty, held on by a single screw, which should have been fixed prior to our arrival but a minor detail

Really friendly and welcoming staff, clean room, super comfortable bed, great shower, really good homecooked food, fabulous location. Best break - thank you so much.

On arrival staff were very helpful, showed us to our room and were extremely welcoming. Spent the first evening enjoying the company of the locals. Will certainly come back.
