Decent sized room. Nice food in restaurant

Breakfast was only served between 8 and 9. Not a long enough window

Some of the furnishings were a little in need of maintenance

Staff were friendly and helped with every query. Breakfast was good quality and beautifully presented with choices to suit everyone.

Water pressure was a bit low which meant that the shower was not as warm as we would have liked

Excellent buffet and hot breakfast, which was cooked to order (how nice is that!). The evening bar menu, centres around fish, all fresh, and mostly local, (Burgers, steaks pizza and also available), all well cooked and nicely presented. . The Captain’s has an excellent location for walking the cliff paths. There is a bus stop outside, to St Peter Port, and it’s within easy reach of some good beaches.

There is no separate sitting, or lounge area, other than the bar area.

The staff was very friendly the place was very clean The food was exceptional Great quality food cooked to perfection Breakfast good selection cooked to order with the same quality as all others meals The price of food was average If you stay, please try the beer battered fish and chips. I've never had any as good Would definitely recommend

Small room Bed was very soft

It was in a country area, which was very quiet at night. Breakfast was very good and the hotel was happy to serve it to me at my convenience. The bar was like a pub, with very good Butcombe ales on handpump.

Comfortable and clean room. Wonderful breakfast. Lovely evening meals in the restaurant. A bus stop right outside. Nice walks close by.
