Good breakfast, very nice staff and owners.

The room/ shower room awful, lamp shade hanging off cieling, plaster on cieling coming off from damp, the smell from the shower plug awful, we left without stay the night

Breakfast was excellent,staff were great and very friendly,all in all a Great stay.

No place to use as a social area

The entire place was exceptionally clean, credit to the room attendant...they really outdid themselves.

The people at the bar were very loud with their singing, and I could hear them from my bedroom (room 6) and this went on until after 21h00

Tiny bathroom. Cost of wine! Split bar. Lack of road signs. Map in rack would be useful. Limited channels on TV.

I liked pretty much everything and it was probably the cheapest place on the island anyway. Easy to find, great pub downstairs and it is open until not too late, so there was really a silence after 23 or something. Free parking right behind the hotel, nice people running the place. All good! Likes it a lot actually!

They should tell to neighbors that to have cocks are actually not a good idea, as those damn birds like to wake up all the area too early.

Food was all excellent. Location is good in lovely area and walkable to beaches. Bus stop directly outside to get further. My room was very good value. I would definitely stay again.

It was peaceful and relatively quiet most of the time with birdsong more prominent than traffic noise. All of the staff were friendly and helpful and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. An interesting area nearby for the locations where Renoir stayed and painted landscapes. We walked to five of these sites from The Captain. The bar and the restaurant was very popular. We enjoyed a dinner there on the evening of our one night stay, before enjoying our breakfast and in the early afternoon, leaving for the ferry to Jersey.
