Really good portion sizes. Breakfast was included and really good range of options. Paid for a single but got a double! Shower was good. Very friendly staff . 15 minute walk to the nearest bay and the cliff paths. Overall very good value for money and very impressed

Toilet seat was loose and some dusty areas.

The staff were professional, super friendly and helpful. The 81 bus stopped right outside which is perfect if you don’t have a car. The room was lovely, spacious, great shower and a very comfortable bed., I had a great evening meal in the pub and breakfast the next morning was fabulous., my first taste of black pudding and I loved it. The full English breakfast was delicious and served on a hot plate in a nice dining room by a very friendly and courteous member of staff. A great first night on Guernsey. Thank you

The room was basic torn curtains, bed uncomfortable, chair was ripped, shower room difficult to use.

Staff were very welcoming and nothing was ever a problem. A very friendly pub with a great bar and fantastic food (huge portions too). Really good location on the island with a regular bus into town and a short walk to the other bus stops and the cliff path. My room (no 5) had a nice view out the back of the pub, everything was very clean and the bed was very comfy. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

As others have mentioned, the shower takes a little while to warm up and water pressure isn’t great but understand there’s little the owners can do about this…

older building reflected in the layout it seems to have evolved rather than purpose built.
