Proximity to the beach - you could walk down in just a minute Ability to rent surf boards - for 200 pesos you could rent a board for the day. Then head down to the beach and surf. This made the process very easy Amazing view - watch surfers from the apartment. We spent a decent amount of time in the room during each day because it was an escape from the sun, you could feel the ocean breeze, and it had such a nice view. Even with the down sides listed below, we really enjoyed our stay.

Extremely loud on weekends - I mean extremely loud. There is a beach party bar directly outside. I think I now know what sleeping inside a night club would be like. Generally quite loud - on weekdays it is still somewhat noisy, with music always playing outside and loud vehicles. This was a bit more of an expected loudness because the location is so central. Misquitos - this apartment is not fully enclosed, which is kind of cool, but we did wake up with many new mosquito bites each morning. Sometimes hot water - this was not too important to us, but we were told if you wait long enough that there is hot water. We never managed to get any. It is so hot outside that a cold shower was kind of pleasant

The music on the beach does not stop. It goes all night. The best time to sleep was 8am-11am.

Literally ran out of water. No flushing of toilets, no taking a shower. Also, very noisy from neighboring bars. And single rooms don’t have windows.

It was a great very central place to stay, the rooftop terrace was great and everyone was really lovely! Nice and private but also lots of communal places to hang out if that’s what you were after

Quite loud - the djs on the beach are very close and they go on through the night, so just something to be aware of! My room had no windows although that probably helped with the noise from the beach. The bed was very hard.

For the price, I just don't see how you can complain about the noise. We loved the open air room. We loved watching the festivities on the beach and the market from our room. We had enough hot water. The location was great. We knew we there was going to be loud music on Saturday, and would choose that over being above the square anyday. Bring noise cancelling headphones and you'll be fine. Sunday there wasn't any music at all. The facilities were great, the view was great. We would stay here again without a doubt.

Communication can be hard when you arrive early, as the manager isn't always there. But she was so nice and helpful, and we lucked out with her being there.
