Stayed in Cromwell room, fantastic! Comfy large bed, quiet, amazing bathroom. Great breakfast freshly cooked.

Initial impressions of the pub coming from the car park not great. View of the castle from bedroom window only at an angle, mostly back gardens.

The beer selection was nice.

Breakfast was included in the room rate but only served from 0800 t0 0900 and had to be ordered in advance. I opted to buy breakfast somewhere else for both days of my 2 night stay. Aggressive service staff at breakfast time. Best to avoid. The nice rooms seemed to be good but no soap or shower gel was available. There is no shaver socket in the bathroom or USB charging sockets. Travellers from outside the UK will have problems charging mobile phones.

Building with historic character and a lively pub with good beer. It was handy after walking down the Wye Valley before starting the Wales Coast Path. Close to town centre, castle and old bridge (which can now be walked across). Staff were helpful on local amenities and breakfast was very good- I especially liked the vine tomatoes.

Unfortunately, they do not serve evening meals, but there are choices for food and take aways nearby.

Loved the location and the pub itself. Enjoyed the area. Would visit again.

Room was a little on the small side but we didn't mind it. This meant the bed was a little small.

Excellent high quality stay in Chepstow. Rooms faultless. Massive breakfast! Very good value for money.

Betalende parking, staat bij omschrijving dat het gratis is bij de accomidatie. Aparte kleine badkamer. 's Avonds vroeg de keuken dicht, dus geen hap eten daar.
